Well not really all that
secret because here it is, The Inn's recipe for their fabulous ...
Raspberry
/ Walnut Bread
2 cups all
purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup
whole wheat flour
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 tsp
baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp
baking powder
2 tsp oil
2 tsp
cinnamon
1 ½ cup orange juice
1 cup
oatmeal (quick, uncooked) 1 cup sunflower
seeds
½ cup
ground flax seed*
1 cup raspberries ( fresh )
¾ cup
sugar
1 cup walnuts
¾ cup
brown sugar
combine all
dry ingredients ( those in the left column) in a large bowl, making a well
in the middle to place the wet ingredients ( first 5 in right hand
column). Mix together until moist. Fold in the last 3 ingredients (
sunflower seeds, raspberries, walnuts). Do not over mix.
Place in
2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until knife comes out
clean. Allow to cool for a few minutes in pans then remove and let cool
on rack.
Reheat
wrapped in foil in oven, or sliced in microwave. Can be wrapped in foil
and freezer bag and placed in freezer for up to 1 month.

uses and can be used to replace most oil in recipes. Flax seed has many
health benefits including lowering your cholesterol. |
